About

I have been a school psychologist for about 15 years, and have had the privilege of working with Pre-K through 12th grade.  I have many interests, including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, working with social difficulties, and utilizing a variety of techniques to improve those social behaviors.  One of those techniques is related to art therapy.  I am not an art therapist, but have a passion for anything art / craft related and feel strongly that art has an impact on one’s emotions and social behavior. (In fact, that was the topic of my dissertation!) I started this blog as a way to distribute interventions and ideas that I have learned over the years to teachers and other educators in a way that is user-friendly and informative.  I hope you enjoy!
